Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Interviews Dr. Lonner

This interview is from January 2010. Dr. Lonner was interviewed by Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology News regarding the use of the new ScoliScore™ Test which is used to project the future prognosis for scoliosis patients.

During the podcast Dr. Baron Lonner discusses the ScoliScore™, which will allow physicians to predict the course of their patient's scoliosis disease. Test results range from 1 to 200 and are broken down into three categories. The lower a score, the less likely the patient will develop a curve that is severe enough to require surgical intervention. The novel approach is expected to revolutionize the manner in which doctors manage and treat patients with scoliosis.
